Git and Gitorious for Qt and KDE development

Speaker: Simon Hausmann

In QtSoftware we have chosen Git and Gitorious as two pillars in our development infrastructure. We turbo charged Gitorious, improving support for large scale development with teams, forks and branches. This presentation explains the development process we use in QtSoftware and the way we integrate contributions. We believe this is an opportunity for KDE to share the same infrastructure with us, and this presentation will be an attempt to convince a wide audience of KDE developers how Git + Gitorious can improve the KDE development process.
